Can I get a DRINK?

On this fine December day in 1933 Prohibition was repealed in the United States by passage of the 21st Amendment. The 18th Amendment banned the sale, manufacture, and consumption of alcohol from 1920 to 1933.

Can you imagine not being able to go to a bar and throw one back, especially in economic times worse than what we're in now? You gotta let the people consume at least one mind-altering substance!
